The Walking Dead Remastered is built on Stern's next-generation SPIKE 3 technology platform — an 18.5-inch full HD display with true color depth, a more powerful processor, a high-fidelity immersive audio system, and completely overhauled 3D-rendered graphics that pay homage to the original while going far beyond it. Custom audio call-outs from actors Michael Rooker and Danai Gurira make every session feel like you're living inside the show. This is not a refresh. It's a reinvention.
The playfield itself is a masterpiece. Enhanced versions of the iconic Cell Block C Prison building, the bicycle girl ramp, and the interactive Well Walker toy anchor a layout that rewards deep play and punishes complacency — exactly the way survival should feel. The re-engineered crossbow device that shoots a pinball has been updated for increased precision and flexibility, and the new RGB lighting with illuminated zombie heads on the slingshots make the whole playfield come alive in a way the original never could.
The legendary ruleset — Prison, Well Walker, and Blood Bath multiballs, five Dead Feature modes, the Last Man Standing endgame — returns updated and expanded, deeper than ever without losing any of the tension that made the original a classic. Stern's Insider Connected system adds real-time engagement and advanced connectivity, including wireless headphone capabilities for when you want the apocalypse on full blast without disturbing the room.
